wetlands is a publishing project dedicated to issues of social and environmental sustainability and the challenges of the Anthropocene. wetlands offers a new vision of contemporary society, which, taking the Venice Lagoon ecosystem as its starting point, reflects on all those places that share its fragility and potential. Moving fluidly between fiction and non-fiction, wetlands explores environmental, urban, social, anthropological and cultural themes, bringing together international perspectives with insights into the life and future of Venice. The books are produced in close collaboration with the editorial team, and each one tells a story that contributes to the development of a rhizomatic yet cohesive editorial identity.
